It looks like that url doesn’t apply the coupon correctly. If I use http://unitedsteaks.com/cart/?apply_coupon=firstorder10 it does work. What plugins do you have installed?

PS: sorry for the somewhat late replies, I’m in a rural area with limited internet connectivity.
