Apply free gifts after regular coupon discount

We have a coupon that gives 50% off certain products. We’ve also got a coupon that automatically applies a free product if you spend over £20.

How can we make sure that the free product is only applied if the minimum order threshold is met after the first discount.

E.g. First product: £30
Discount: -£15
Total: £15
Free product not applied.

That’s not possible, unfortunately. A coupon always takes the subtotal into account.
