    Hi

    I have created a free product coupon, but when i apply it to the basket nothing changes. Then when i refresh the page I get a 500 error.

    Hi,

    With this enabled, in Chrome all pages are now just blank (including the admin area). In Incognito mode, the basket appears but no product information is displayed. Seems it stops at the header. No error messages were displayed.

    Hi,

    a couple of things here:

    1. You need to make /mnt/store/www/vhosts/arialtrail.co.uk/staging/wp-content/uploads/wc-logs/ writable
    2. Please uninstall the FREE version of the Extended Coupon Features Plugin. Only use the PRO version
    3. Upgrade Extended Coupon Features to 2.6.1.1 (enter license details at Settings > WooCommerce Extended Coupon Features for automatic upgrades)

    If the above doesn’t fix the issue, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG or WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY and send me the error message you get in debug.log .

    That error message is not related. How can I reproduce the error on your site? I.e. what is the coupon code and what are the requirements to apply it?

    The coupon code is Nestle and it should add on a Free child ticket with every adult ticket in the basket.

    When i visit the URL and add an adult ticket to the basket. After applying the Nestle coupon nothing changes. If i then refresh the page it shows a blank page.

    I am no longer getting a blank page when applying the coupon, just what appears to be a broken basket page (just shows the head)

    Hi,

    yes, now I see a semi-blank page, but the response code is 200 and I see no fatal error in the debug.log. This looks like it’s a die() or exit in PHP. Is that possible? Do you have any custom script in functions.php?

    Hi,

    No the only functions.php file i have edited/added is the one in the child theme, which just includes the parent theme style sheet.

    I just tried deactivating the WooCommerce Coupon Extended Pro Version plugin and all works as it should, however I do need this plugin to apply my coupons.

    Hi,

    I performed some further tests. It seems that the booking plugin causes the crash when the free ‘child’-ticket doesn’t have it’s meta-data set; which makes sense because a booking needs a date. When I replace the free child ticket by a free simple product, the site keeps working…

    Instead of adding the child-ticket would it be an option to offer a 100% discount on every 2nd ticket in the cart when the coupon is applied?
