Are there any instructions on how to set up a BOGO deal with the pro plugin?

What is the exact deal you would like to offer?

We have 4 products, all the same price.

Buy any one product, get another for free.

Buy two products, get 2 for free.

    Any combination of products.

The easiest way is setting up a coupon like this:

    Discount type: Product % discount
    Discount amount: 100
Minimum quanitity of matching products: 2
Limit discount to: Every nth item

this will discount 100% every 2nd (matching) product.

I must be doing something wrong .. it’s discounting the entire total, not just one.

And as I add more products, it just discounts the 2 initial products only.

Each are $5, so I get these results:

    1 product, $0 discount, $5 total
    2 products, $10 discount, $0 total
    3 products, $10 discount, $5 total
    4 products, $10 discount, $10 total

On the Usage limits page set Limit discount to to Every nth item
Don’t use limit usage to X items.

I want to create more BOGO-type discounts.. like B2G2, B4G4, etc.
But I can’t figure out how to limit the minimum cart quantity and the maximum FREE discounted items.

For example, in suggested settings, the discount applies starting from 2 items in cart.
I want to restrict to a minimum of 4 items in the cart and discount a maximum of 2 items but keep the “every 2nd product is 100% discounted”.

    Use case:
2 items in the cart – coupon is not available (it is not meeting the 4 items in cart restriction)
4 items in the cart – 2 are paid, and 2 (the cheapest ones) are 100% discounted
8 items in the cart – 6 are paid, and 2 (the cheapest ones) are 100% discounted
