Buy more get more free gift

This is what I need to achieve:
Customer get the same free gift for every additional item added to the cart.

At the moment, the free gift is only added once. Even if I changed quantity, or add another product under same category, the free gift remains as one. What have I missed?

Also use those settings:
– Usage restrictions – “Minimum quantity of matching items” : 1
– Free products – “Allow multiplication” : Checked
