Coupon by URL only works when adding 2nd product

I really love the plugin, but i am running into the following issue.

I would like to use the Coupon by URL function, but the 50% discount coupon only works when i add the product for the second time (http://www.ranky.nl/afrekenen/?add-to-cart=48&apply_coupon=RK500710&quantity=1). Or even when i only add the coupon (http://www.ranky.nl/afrekenen/?apply_coupon=RK500710).

What could be the problem?
