Discount every 2 products

I need to apply 30% discount to 1 item every 2 items, example:

Items cost $100

buy 1 = $100
buy 2 = $100 + $70 (30%off)
buy 3 = $100 + $70 + $100
buy 4 = $100 + $70 + $100 + $70
…

Can you guide me how to do that.

Hi,

On the Usage Restrictions tab, set min amount of matching products to: 2
On the Usage Limits tab, set ‘Limit discount to:’ to: Every nth item.

Hi.
I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong, it doesn’t work as expected. When I set the options as you said, the 30% is being applied on every item after I add 2 items. What I need is: Buy 2 of these, the second one will have 30% off (only one of them). If you buy 3 of these, only one will have the discount, but if you buy 4 will get 30% off on 2 of them, and so on, every 2 items, one of them will have the 30%.

I tried to limit the usage to 1 item, but the discount is beign applied to only one item no matter how many items I add.

Any solution?

What version of the plugin are you using? Version 2.5.5.1 fixed an issue for the ‘Limit discount’ option in combination with WC3.2.3+

Ok, I made a full copy of the site and updated the WC, that fixed the issue. Unfortunately I can’t update my primary site right now, as there are some plugins that are not yet compatible.

Here you have the system Status Report of my primary site. ¿Do you think I can make some easy code change to fix the issue?

Is the WC version the only difference? I just tested 2.5.5.1 with WC 3.1.2 and it works fine here. Can it be a co flict with a theme script? If you install 3.1.2 on the site copy, does the problem come back?
