    Hello,

    Running latest version (i checked) and i am trying to set a coupon to give the lowest priced item free (one only).

    I have setup (only listing anything non default):

    General:
    Discount type: Fixed product discount
    Coupon amount: 100
    Allow free shipping: yes

    Usage restrictions:
    Individual use only: yes
    Exclude products: have listed a number of products
    Product categories (OR): Has a category set
    Exclude categories: Has a category selected.
    Matching products – Minimum quantity of matching products: 2
    Matching products – Maximum quantity of matching products: no maximum
    Matching products – Minimum subtotal of matching products: 50
    Matching products – Maximum subtotal of matching products: no maximum

    Usage limits:
    Usage limit per coupon: unlimited usage
    Limit usage to X items: 1
    Usage limit per user: Unlimited usage

    Limit discount to: Lowest priced product

    WIth the above, it applies the free shipping but nothing else.

    If i change “Limit discount to:” to default, it will work except it discounts the most expensive item (or might be first item on list).

    Any ideas?

    Try it without entering ‘Limit usage to X items’.

    That works better until i do the following:

    2 x item at $28

    2 x item at $58

    The code discounts both of the $28 items but it should just discount one.

    Ideas?

    Please change the discount type to ‘Percent discount’ instead of ‘Fixed product discount’.
