i searched the forum and didn’t see this answered yet. I purchased the Pro version to specifically use the “Discount on cart with excluded products” feature that allows the coupon to be applied even if there are excluded products that are in the cart.
I activated the plugin, and checked the box to enable that feature for my coupon, but after it says it has applied my coupon, the discount is not taken from the remaining eligible products.
Is there a known bug?
You can test here: http://www.shiningsol.com/shop/
Active coupon code is: midsummer
Non eligible products: anything KISS: http://www.shiningsol.com/kiss-band-products/The coupon is for 15% off.
Any help appreciated.
July 22, 2016 at 7:50 pm #588Soft79KeymasterCan you please send me screenshots of your coupon settings. What other WooCommerce related plugins are you using?
July 22, 2016 at 8:20 pm #591DeronParticipantScreenshots, including plugin list: http://www.creationnation.com/wooplugin/
July 22, 2016 at 10:15 pm #593Soft79KeymasterCould you try disabling coupons or options one-by-one to see what might cause the issue?
I suspect it might be a problem with “Exclude sale items” in combination with “Dynamic pricing and discounts”-plugin.
July 23, 2016 at 3:27 am #595DeronParticipantDeactivated: WooCommerce Dynamic Pricing & Discounts = same result
Deactivated: WooCommerce Bulk Edit Product Variations = same result
Disabled coupons and your plugin, refreshed, reactivated = same result
Removed excluded items = same result
Disable Coupon pro plugin = discount shows.
Activated Coupon pro again = discount disappears again.
Once it gets a little later I will try to put store in maintenance mode and turn off plugins one by one 🙁
July 23, 2016 at 5:57 am #596DeronParticipantI tried to also disable the following plugins with no luck:
WooCommerce Hear About Us
WooCommerce Cart Stock Reducer
WooCommerce Cart Add-OnsJuly 23, 2016 at 8:30 am #598Soft79KeymasterHave you tried disabling Usage Limit per user?
What if you change discount type to Product % Discount?
I can’t reproduce the issue here.
July 23, 2016 at 2:31 pm #600DeronParticipantUsage limit to unlimited = same
Product % discount = sameI deactivated like 10-12 other coupons while in maintenance mode as well, all same result. I’m stumped 🙁
July 23, 2016 at 2:37 pm #601DeronParticipantI also made a completely fresh coupon, with minimal options set, and that does not work.
July 23, 2016 at 3:09 pm #602DeronParticipantDo you have an email address I can contact you at?
July 23, 2016 at 9:03 pm #603Soft79KeymasterVery strange. Do you have a staging environment I can test on? Could you send me admin credentials to admin at soft79.nl ?
July 25, 2016 at 8:04 pm #607Soft79KeymasterI noticed there is an issue with WooCommerce 2.6.3 that might have caused your problem. Please download 2.3.5 beta from your account page and let me know.
July 26, 2016 at 5:04 pm #609DeronParticipantI think that one fixed it man, thanks.
To clarify, the checkbox that was in the previous version of the plugin is gone, and it “just works” with the beta plugin, correct?
July 26, 2016 at 5:37 pm #610Soft79KeymasterThe checkbox is hidden when you choose ‘Product Discount’. On ‘Cart Discount’ it should be visible.
July 26, 2016 at 6:04 pm #611DeronParticipantGotcha, forgot I had switched to that during all the testing.
I just tested it all, and works like a champ. Thanks!
