Excluded product override not functioning

i searched the forum and didn’t see this answered yet. I purchased the Pro version to specifically use the “Discount on cart with excluded products” feature that allows the coupon to be applied even if there are excluded products that are in the cart.

I activated the plugin, and checked the box to enable that feature for my coupon, but after it says it has applied my coupon, the discount is not taken from the remaining eligible products.

Is there a known bug?

Can you please send me screenshots of your coupon settings. What other WooCommerce related plugins are you using?

Could you try disabling coupons or options one-by-one to see what might cause the issue?

I suspect it might be a problem with “Exclude sale items” in combination with “Dynamic pricing and discounts”-plugin.

Deactivated: WooCommerce Dynamic Pricing & Discounts = same result

Deactivated: WooCommerce Bulk Edit Product Variations = same result

Disabled coupons and your plugin, refreshed, reactivated = same result

Removed excluded items = same result

Disable Coupon pro plugin = discount shows.

Activated Coupon pro again = discount disappears again.

Once it gets a little later I will try to put store in maintenance mode and turn off plugins one by one 🙁

Have you tried disabling Usage Limit per user?

What if you change discount type to Product % Discount?

I can’t reproduce the issue here.

Usage limit to unlimited = same
Product % discount = same

I deactivated like 10-12 other coupons while in maintenance mode as well, all same result. I’m stumped 🙁

I also made a completely fresh coupon, with minimal options set, and that does not work.

I noticed there is an issue with WooCommerce 2.6.3 that might have caused your problem. Please download 2.3.5 beta from your account page and let me know.

To clarify, the checkbox that was in the previous version of the plugin is gone, and it “just works” with the beta plugin, correct?

The checkbox is hidden when you choose ‘Product Discount’. On ‘Cart Discount’ it should be visible.
