    Hello.
We need help with excluded products in a coupon. When an excluded product is in cart, the coupon (299 freebie) won’t be applied because an excluded item is in cart. In order to apply the coupon, we need to remove that product from cart. Got it.

The problem is, our team strongly suggested before the recent updates the plugin used to ignore excluded products in cart. It used to ignore excluded products, calculate the price of allowed products and if the price reaches the threshold; Coupon applies.
Could you please confirm if that was the case in the past?
If not, we would like to get a solution to make this work like suggested. We don’t want to replace this plugin with something else because it works fine with our site. We will highly appreciate if you could provide us the solution for this issue.

    Thanks

This has not changed. Please note the difference between ‘Minimum spend’ and ‘Minimum subtotal of matching products’. The latter will not count the excluded items.

Minimum spend – The coupon applies if the cart subtotal sums up to this value
Minimum subtotal of matching products – The coupon applies if the value of the matching products sums up to this value.
