make the gift not accessible as a "normal" product

Hello and congratulations for your plugin

How can I do so that the gift are not clickable from the basket.
I do not want the gift to be accessible like the other products.

It must not be possible to add to the basket independently.

On the product admin page, set visibility to ‘Hidden’.

Disclaimer: You can’t fully prevent the item from being added; i.e. if the client knows the url of the product he is still able to add the product. So at least set a price to the product.
