I found something that works more specifically for my needs since using this plugin doesn’t filter out “Out of Stock” products from my product searches.
Please tick the option ‘Update Stock Status’ on the WC > Settings > Products > Expiry dates – page. This will schedule a daily cron job that will update the stock status of expired products.
