Ordered expensive to cheap:
1. Aubrey Shades – Grey R350
2. Aubrey Shades – Maroon R350
3. Designer Shades – Sea Green R250
4. Hadid Shades – White R100
Number 2 and 4 are discounted. Those are the cheapest of every group of two items.
This is done to prevent the following:
Let’s say customer has:
1. Aubrey Shades – Grey R350
2. Aubrey Shades – Maroon R350
The customer pays R350. But now the customer adds a R100 glass to the order:
1. Aubrey Shades – Grey R350
2. Aubrey Shades – Maroon R350
3. Hadid Shades – White R100
If we would only discount the cheapest item, the customer now pays R700, just by adding a R100 item! So basically the R100 glass would cost the customer R350!!!!
