Plugin Causes Cart Messages To Display Twice

When the plugin is activated it is causing cart messages to duplicate twice. I see this user here at the same issue, with the thread marked complete but no solution provided within the thread? Could you please advise?

I get the cart messages just once. Try clearing your browser cache and try again.

Disabling Remove Query String From CSS & Javascript In WordPress might also fix the issue. I don’t think using that plugin is a good idea because returning customers will use outdated css / js files, which I think is currently the case for you.

Hi there – thanks for getting back so quickly – the error occurs when the code is not met – please add 1 item to the cart and then add the code summer20.
I have also disabled the plugin suggested as well as clear website cache and browser cache but still having the issue.

1. Deactivate + Remove 2.6.3
2. Add + activate 3.0.0

(Don’t worry, no data will be lost on deactivation / uninstall)

Hi – ok so I have managed to install the latest update
It has partially fixed the issue.
Now when you enter the code and the offer isn’t met, the duplicate message only appears for the error message relating to that coupon – before it was doing it to all cart messages including the woocommerce points and reward.
But it is still duplicating the cart message for the specific coupon?

1. create a similar coupon with a different code and a minimum spend of $ 30 (no minimum quantity!).
2. disable our plugin
3. add something to the cart, but make sure contents < $ 30. 4. go to cart page. Try to add the coupon. 5. Q: Do you get a double message now? 6. enable our plugin 7. go to cart page. Try to add the coupon. 8. Q: Do you get a double message now? Please let me know what you see in step 5 and 8.

Tested – it is definitely plugin related – add code TEST to the cart to see.

I know what the issue is – you have a section of your plugin that allows me to override the text shown when the requirements are not met.
It is under miscellaneous / Allow applying when invalid
